Tiger Specification (Originally)

The car started out as a standard kit from Tiger fitted with a 2 litre Ford Pinto engine and twin sidedraught carburetors, and in this form it produced about 100bhp at the wheels. It took a year from delivery of the kit until the car was on the road and fully legal. In May 2011 I had the engine replaced with a Ford Zetec unit. There are now two tables the first is the current (2011) specification, the second is the pre 2011 specification. The reason for doing this is a lot of the links on this page refer to the engine changes for the pinto and I didn't want to lose that continuity with the archive.
